There is something special about Wimborne, Dorset ~ the quintessential English market town, housing 15th,16th and 17th century buildings, it's own Saxon Minster Church (the  resting place of 'Alfred the great') and once the home of Thomas Hardy ~  many become enchanted by the beautiful doorstep blend of land and sea and make it their home. And that's precisely how, in 2022, Bertie's owner Natasha found her way to Wimborne.

Natasha is your go-to country wear curator and all-round stylist. With a background in buying and merchandising, she’s spent her life immersed in fashion—always with an impeccable eye for timeless style. 

After having her two beautiful daughters, Nell and Grace, Natasha made a bold move: 
she followed her heart to the countryside and took a leap with her mum to take over Berties. Three years on, she’s brought fresh vision and flair to the store, determined to evolve Berties into a destination for contemporary, chic, and practical country wear. 

"I want Berties to have a place in every wardrobe—whether you’re on the school run, out riding, off to lunch with friends, or heading to a shoot." 

Natasha believes that country style isn’t stuck in the past—it’s modern, effortless, and made to move with you, wherever you go.
